The Tour of Britain comes through Ashtead

It's not every day you get a national sporting event happening in your own High Street, so today we ventured out to join the crowds in cheering the cyclists along on the latest stage of the Tour Of Britain Cycle Race 2013.

Of course I grabbed my cameras and had a quick play as they came and were escorted through the village by the Race Control waving the red and white chequered flag and leading the bikes through Ashtead.

The village is ready and waiting..

Not long now.... a slight buzz of excitement goes around

These are a few samples of the latest Commercial Photography undertaken for the Mercure, Novotel and Ibis chains of hotels for Accor hotels.

Using natural lighting as well as location lights from Elinchrom to achieve a 'sun kissed' look and feel to the shots. It was great working with a client who allowed my creative freedom to experiment and work with the models.

Shooting interiors of the hotels, rooms and lounge areas, restaurants and the food stations, as well as more creative shots with models and showing the business and leisure aspects of the hotels.
